HOW TO CREATE A FESTIVE HALF-UP PONY

Keep your hair protected and looking healthy by first misting with the ghd bodyguard - heat protect spray. Section hair working upwards from the bottom of the head and glide the ghd paddle brush from root to tip followed by the ghd gold® hair straightener. Turn the styler inwards at the ends of the hair to create a sleek bevel. Separate the front section of the hair into a triangle to be swept into a side part later. Pull the hair upwards from the ear and section into a high pony. Release the triangular section and secure into place with some festive hair slides for a hint of sparkle. Wrap a strand of hair from the base of the ponytail around the elastic and finish with the ghd perfect ending - final fix hairspray.

STEP BY STEPS

step 1: PREP Prep the hair with the ghd bodyguard - heat protect spray in misted layers.

step 2: SECTION Section the hair horizontally into two sections, beginning at the bottom of the head and work upwards.

step 3: ANGLE Place the ghd paddle brush horizontally into the roots, followed by the ghd gold® styler.

step 4: TRAVEL Glide down the hair, leading the way with the ghd paddle brush for the best tension.

step 5: TURN Turn the ghd gold® styler a quarter turn inwards for a soft bevel on the ends of the hair.

step 6: CONTINUE Continue this technique throughout the hair until all hair is smooth and tucked.

step 7: SECTION Section the front of the hair into a large triangle, clip this up and out of the way.

step 8: TIE Section the hair again from the ears upwards for a high ponytail and tie this into place.

step 9: ACCESSORISE Release the triangle section, sweep to the side and secure with festive hair slides.

step 10: FINISH Finish the look by wrapping hair around the elastic and misting with the ghd perfect ending - final fix hairspray.
