I purchased this for a recent trip overseas for a wedding. I have used GHD products for years and have always loved them. I am very disappointed with GHD for not making clear that you need to contact any airport you wish to fly into because a many airports and airlines will confiscate these flat irons because they have no "flight mode" function. You can imagine how upset I was after investing in these only to have my brand new flat irons confiscated before having a chance to use them. When I contacted customer service to let them know about the problem, I was brushed off and told that there is a warning about this on the website but it is so hidden that I would never have found it without being directed there: https://help.ghdhair.com/hc/en-us/categories/360001370859-PRODUCTS-WARRANTY The TSA agent who confiscated the styler said they have confiscated so many of these exact stylers and that GHD should be warning their customers. Sadly, customer service and GHD do not care. They use language in the product description including "Approved for safe in-cabin traveling and in carry-on luggage so you can take your style anywhere in the world." and it is very misleading. Do not buy these if you are planning to travel on any flight. Buyer Beware and shame on you GHD.

The battery barely holds a charge – I could only straighten my hair for a few minutes before it died. This completely defeats the purpose of it being cordless. Returning it was another nightmare. They charged me a restocking fee because it was personalized, even though the personalization was practically invisible. I had to search the entire product just to find where my name was printed – it’s in a hidden spot that you’d never even notice. Customer service was equally disappointing. They refused to acknowledge any issues with the flat iron’s battery life and didn’t seem interested in resolving my concerns. You’ll be better off with different brand the cost 60% cheaper.
