BEYOND A GOOD HAIR DAY

Over 20 years of Breast Cancer Charity Support

Our long-standing pink campaign has been at the heart of ghd for over 20 years and has raised over $24m for breast cancer charities worldwide, and we’re not stopping anytime soon.

2.3 million women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year globally*. Some women consider their breasts and hair to be their most feminine representation of beauty, and breast cancer can take them both away. At ghd we strive to empower all women and instil them with confidence, with or without hair, through our annual pink campaigns and limited-edition collections in partnership with over 12 breast cancer charities across the world.

Our annual pink campaigns spotlight the importance of self-checking because early diagnosis of breast cancer can save lives.

GOOD CARE DAY

Giving back to our communities is important to us and we believe our actions can have a positive impact on people around us.

In 2024 we launched our Good Care Day project – an annual day where all ghd employees put our tools down and focus our energy on giving back to our local communities as a team.

Good Care Day’s throughout February 2024 contributed to 24 charities globally, supporting a range of causes that our teams are passionate about and all of which demonstrate the true power of a good care day.

Additionally, we empower every employee at ghd to put their tools down for another day every year and focus that time on supporting their local community with our paid volunteer day programme, where employees choose a charity or cause close to their hearts that they want to support for the day.
