SUPPORTING BREAST CANCER CHARITIES WORLDWIDE

R100 DONATED FROM EVERY PINK PRODUCT PURCHASED

For 21 years the ghd pink collection has been at the heart of ghd. Raising awareness around self-checking for breast cancer and more than $24 million for breast cancer charities worldwide through annual pink limited-editions, this is a cause that ghd, and ghd employees, care passionately about.

For this year’s pink campaign we look inside to the cornerstone of the ghd organisation, the employees at ghd, who share their heartfelt stories and experiences of how breast cancer has personally affected them and their loved ones

PINKDRIVE®

THEIR MISSION AND VISION

The PinkDrive® NPC’s cardinal purpose is to contribute meaningfully towards preventing as many people as it can, from succumbing to breast, cervical, prostate, and testicular cancer. Its primary focus is on citizens without access to reasonable care for these conditions, and who reside in areas where health services do not reach.

They recognise that treatable cancers receiving even the basic levels of care could translate into varying lengths of extended life for the afflicted when detected and treated early. Their mandate is to promote awareness and early detection of, and screening for gender-related cancers in the general population of South Africa, using the message, “Early detection will help to prolong life.”
